* Submitting your film to the festival is FREE as long as your submission is postmarked by December 17th. The Great River Film Festival is not responsible for lost submissions due to inadequate postage or any postal/shipping errors.

* We will only consider one submission per filmmaker. Please only send us your very best work.

* We are only accepting short films. For this festival, that means anything 22 minutes or shorter including the credits. Any film over 22 minutes long, including credits, is not eligible and will be disqualified.

* All films must have been completed after Jan 1st 2006 and works in progress are NOT eligible. Only send us completed films.

* If your submission was produced as part of a class you were taking, please indicate it as such and include a copy of your student ID.

* Because we want to present a diverse group of films to our community, we are not accepting any submissions from current or former Denison University students for this year’s festival.

* In order for the committee to view your entry, you must include one NTSC dvd copy of your film. Note that these DVDs will not be returned to you. Please do not send us your only/master copy.

* If your film is selected for screening at the festival, a digital, H.264 encoded exhibition version will be required.

Further rules and specifics are included with the application form. Please read it carefully and submit your films before December 17th, 2010.
